Simple Mandala Texture Mat & Matching Cutters

This texture mat is designed by Sian Hamilton and manufactured by Stephanie Chavez Designs.

If features a circular repeating mandala pattern with matching cutters to cut the mandala out perfectly saving you time and hassle!

It has four sizes of the same design in a deep texture perfect for metal clay or polymer clay. The depth of the texture works really nicely with acrylic inks and resin or enamels.

The mat measures 63mm x 101mm (2.5in x 4in)

Cutters

Large: 45mm
Medium: 39mm
Small: 32mm
Extra small: 23mm

Finished pendant shown has a slightly different edge design, this is not on the texture mat available. The pendant is 45mm, 999 silver clay pendant dried over a dome with a hidden arch bail made using my Arch Bail Makers.

The cutting edge is super fine: 0.2mm-0.3mm, width varies depending on the complexity of the design.

Most cutters have the size embossed on the side. Special or complex shapes do not.

The size is the diameter of the shape when cut, sizes are approximate.

These cutters are designed for metal clay, they will also work for polymer clay and air dry clay.

Please note:

  • All cutters are printed to order, please allow *5-7 processing days (not including shipping / in transit days) when ordering.
  • Cutters are made of durable but not indestructable PLA plastic. To clean them use warm water only.
  • Colour of the cutters may vary. The colour in the photos is not gauranteed.
  • Sizes are approximate and may be slightly larger or smaller than stated.
  • They cannot withstand heat: do not put in a dehydrator, on a hot plate, in hot water or leave in strong direct sunlight.
  • Clay can stick to the cutters. Always use a good release agent or clingfilm. My tips for using the cutters are coming soon!
  • The very fine cutting edge can be damaged if cutters are stored haphazardly together.
  • A full set (if offered) will have one cutter of each size.
