Geometric Pendant Class | Alice Holt Forest

Make a gorgeous Geometric patterned pendant! at Alice Holt Forest Education Centre.

Friday 7th February (10am – 4pm)

In this class you will learn make a geometric pattern with Scratch foam as a texture template for a circular pendant and colour it with acrylic ink.

Learn all about Scratch foam, how to draw a texture, transfer it to the clay, cut, dry and refine the pendant. You will add a silver clay hidden arch bail for cord.

To finish you will learn about acrylic ink and using resin to seal in the colour, ending the day with a beautiful pendant to take away.

Enough silver clay is provided to make one 40mm pendant, if you wish to make a large piece or extra pendants you will need extra clay.

Skill level:
For all levels, no experience needed but an understanding of silver clay is advantageous.

Friday 7th February 10am – 4pm

Included in fee:

• 20g Art Clay Silver (RRP £40)
• Acrylic Dipping inks & clear resin
• Use of basic kit, drying domes and pendant cutters
• Digital pdf and video instructions on the making process.
• The class fee includes the car parking fee for Alice Holt Forest car park.

If you prefer to use your own tools, you are welcome to bring your own kit!

Extra clay and cutters will be available to purchase on the day.

Tea, Coffee and biscuits will be supplied but no lunch. The Alice Holt cafe has great food.

The address is GU10 4LS, Bucks Horn Oak, Farnham.

There is a large car park and the parking fee is covered in the class fee. You will be asked to supply your car registration ahead of the day.

On site is a large cafe selling tasty hot and cold food. In the classroom there will be an urn for hot drinks and biscuits.

Cancellations

If you cancel 4 weeks or more before the class an 80% refunded will be given (20% is non-refundable to cover admin and costs). If you cancel within 4 weeks of the class a refund will not provided. The booking can be transferred to another person of your choice but we shall not be involved in any financial agreement or transfer of payment between you and the person taking your place. In the event that you cannot attend a class and find someone to take your place please email Sian with the person’s details as far in advance of the class as possible. In the unlikely event we have to cancel a class we give a 100% refund.

In order to run, each class will need a minimum of 4 students. If any of the dates listed do not reach the minimum requirement, it may need to be cancelled and all fees will be refunded. The room maximum is 20, when all 20 places have been sold the date will show as out of stock.
