ORDERING

How do I place an order?

The way to order a piece of Hamilton Jewellery is from the online shop. The Website contains details of the full Hamilton Jewellery collection currently available.

If you want to order a commissioned unique piece please email me using the contact us form on the website.


Do you have a minimum order requirement?

No, we are happy to send you a single pair of earrings if that is what you require. Minimum Postage and Packing will apply.


What forms of payment do you accept?

All major Credit and Debit Cards are accepted. We use a secure payment service with the latest security features inbuilt. Our payment provider is currently Paypal, you do NOT need a paypal account to use this payment service, paypal will guide you through the secure payment process, if you do have a paypal account you can pay through your account.


How do I know that you have received my order?

Once Checkout has been completed you will receive an email detailing your order. Please check this email to make sure that the order is correct. If you have any issues with the order please contact us.


Can I order from outside the UK?

Yes, we do accept international orders. Your order will be subject to payment in Pounds Sterling. Please see DELIVERY for international posting costs and times.


What happens if a piece is out of stock?

We try our best to constantly have a supply of all the goods shown on our site but instances will occur when items ordered are out of stock. In such cases we will notify you of any items that are not in stock on the date of your order. Any out of stock item will be made and delivered to you within 2 weeks. If this is not acceptable you will be given the option to cancel the order.


PACKAGING AND DELIVERY

What are the delivery charges?

UK - For orders upto £50 we post using Royal mail signed for service at a charge of £2.50.

For orders from £51 upto £200 we post using special delivery at a charge of £5.00.

Orders £201 and over will be posted using special delivery Free of charge to the customer.

International - International orders will be sent by Airsure at a cost of £8.00, please allow up to 14 days for delivery. Any additional charges (ie customs charges) incurred when arriving in your country will be at your cost.


What are your dispatch times?

If in stock orders will be dispatched within 3 working days (Monday-Friday), if out of stock the items will have to be made and will be dispatched within 2 weeks. If we are not able to keep within the 2 weeks (ie. Materials need to be ordered in to complete the order) we will contact you and give an accurate timing or offer a refund.


How will my Jewellery be packaged?

All Hamilton Jewellery comes in either a signature Hamilton Jewellery box or for smaller items a Rainbow Organza bag. Stud earrings come on a purpose made card and then in a silver pillow pack. All pieces will be posted in a ‘jiffy’ style envelope. For large orders the items will be enclosed in bubble wrap and boxed.

Pillow packs are card envelopes that are shaped like a pillow, where both ends fold in making the pack an elipse (eye) shape when seen from the end and a pillow when seen from the front.


Can I have the items posted to an alternative address?

Yes we are happy to delivery to an alternative address.


GENERAL


Do you have a printed catalogue?

We do not supply printed catalogues, they are very expensive to produce and it would be impossible to keep updated with new designs that are always being introduced.


What is Precious Metal Clay?

PMC is 99.9% pure silver. Called Fine Silver, for more detailed information see Our Silver.


Do you offer a guarantee for your products?

Hamilton Jewellery guarantees that all the pieces will be of a high standard of production. As a mark of our faith in our product, we offer to repair any broken piece of Jewellery (if repair is possible) Free of charge. So if the dog gets to your bracelet, collect up as many beads as you can and send it back. If beads or pieces are missing and have to be replaced we reserve the right to ask for payment for materials. In the event of accidental breakage postage and packing will be charged at cost.
